Novo Nordisk Middle Africa was established in early 2012 and is comprised of 49 countries across sub-Saharan Africa. We employ more than 100 people across 17 different countries working in a wide range of functions. The affiliate is headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya where the Management Team is based with another regional office in Lagos, Nigeria where we have an extended back office support team.
In Middle Africa, we aim at long term business sustainability and value creation by striving to conduct our activities in a financially, environmentally and socially responsible way. We also aim at providing a healthy and engaging environment for our employees. All this makes for a responsible culture in every sense.
In Middle Africa, we take a patient centred business approach which is reflected in the initiatives and activities we undertake to ensure that we improve access to care for the most vulnerable populations living in the low and middle income countries of Africa. We work in partnership with Governments, Ministries of Health, Patient Associations and other external partners to develop scalable and sustainable solutions that improve access to care. Working in Middle Africa is not just a way to make a living, but a way to positively impact the lives of hundreds of thousands of patients across Africa.
