Your New Role

As a Content & Promotions Specialist, you will play a vital role in shaping how Novo Nordisk communicates with patients, healthcare professionals and key stakeholders across Middle Africa. This position will develop compelling content and promotional initiatives that elevate brand visibility, support product launches and ensure a seamless customer engagement experience.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional colleagues to ensure that all content is scientifically accurate, fully compliant and aligned with strategic business objectives.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing scientific, promotional and digital content for key audiences. Translating complex medical information into clear, engaging and accurate messaging
  • Ensuring full alignment and approval of materials with regulatory, medical, legal and brand requirements. Managing digital asset repositories to maintain accuracy, accessibility and version control
  • Partnering with sales, marketing, medical and digital teams to ensure unified messaging across touchpoints. Coordinating approvals and compliance oversight for promotional and educational materials
  • Engaging with KOLs, healthcare stakeholders and patient groups to support effective communication. Supporting presentations, workshops and webinars for internal and external audiences
  • Monitoring market trends, competitive activity and evolving customer needs. Ensuring all promotional activities comply with relevant ethical standards, industry codes and local regulations. Contributing to cross-functional projects and sharing best practices across the region

Based in Nairobi, Kenya, you will work with regional and global colleagues who are dedicated to improving patient outcomes through impactful communication and engagement excellence.

 

Your Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we expect:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Communications, Marketing or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in content development, medical communications or promotional marketing — ideally in pharma or healthcare
  • Strong understanding of compliance, regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Excellent writing, editing and proof-reading skills
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration skills in a regulated environment
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities
  • Fluency in English, French proficiency
  • Structured, detail-oriented mindset with strong executional capability
